COMPETITION REGISTRATION
To register for the Forage YEN, please email the following information to yen@adas.co.uk
- Entrants name
- Entrants email address
- Name of the person responsible for paying for the entry
Upon registration, you will receive and Entry Pack and Competition Guidance, with details of the further information required including payment terms.
All data will be managed in line with the YEN Data Privacy Policy.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much is it to enter the Forage YEN?
For UK based individual farmers, Forage YEN Membership is £500 + VAT for a two cut entry or £300 + VAT for a maize or whole cereal crop entry.
If you are a corporation hoping to sponsor up to 5 grower entries, the cost for corporate sponsorship is £5000.

Who pays for YEN?
There are two options for payment:
- Corporate sponsors- enter five field entries for £5,000 ( for two cuts of grass). Additional fields can be added £500 for grass and £300 for maize and whole crop.
- Farmer/independent agronomists/researcher One grass or grass/clover crop entry is £500 + VAT (for two cuts of grass). Any additional grass or grass/clover cut is £150. A maize or whole cereal crop entry is £300.
Do I have to enter a whole field?
You can enter whole fields, or part of fields. You can also enter multiple entries e.g. for different fields or for different parts of the same field. For instance you may like to undertake an experiment by varying your approach. To be eligible for awards, entries must be at least 2ha.
Can I enter more than one field?
You can enter as many fields as you like into any or all of the Yield Enhancement Networks.
Can I enter trials into YEN?
Trials can be entered into YEN, and these are separated into their own category for awards. Please contact us before submitting trials entries as we may require additional information.
Is all the information requested mandatory?
Some of the data requested is mandatory in order to have a valid entry. In these cases you will not be able to register the entry without providing the information. Provision of additional non-mandatory data will enable us to provide a more detailed analysis in your final report.
